Detox Methods to Improve your Health

Hello, my dear Readers,

I began to realize that DETOX is the shit, everyone is doing a detox something, detox bath, detox tea, detox this and detox that. So I decided to look for the best recipes and the most delicious ones to share with you guys.

When I was looking for recipes I found that tons of drinks have apple cider vinegar as an ingredient. You could add apple cider vinegar in the lemonade and the tea that I recommended, but I’m not a fan of the flavour so I take tablets of ACV so I don’t have to drink it. If you would like to do the same as I, you can purchase the tablets HERE (expensive) and HERE (more affordable).

1. Lemon Juice

2. Water

3. Organic Honey

4. Cayenne Peper

5. Cinnamon

Optional – Sweetener maybe stevia or agave. I am a sweet tooth so I like things very sweet so if you are like that, you might want to add a little bit of sweetener, other than just honey.

1.  One cup of green tea

2. Lemon Juice

3. Cinnamon (stick)

4. Organic Honey

Prepare your cup of green tea, and then put it in a pan in the cooker, then you add the cinnamon stick and the lemon juice (a tiny bit) for the infusion. After a couple minutes put your tea back into a cup, add the honey and that’s it. PERFECTION.

– 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breast

– 2 quarts chicken broth

– 1 large onion, peeled and chopped

– 3 cups broccoli florets

– 2 1/2 cups sliced carrots

– 2 cups chopped celery

– 1 1/2 cups frozen peas

– 1/4 cup chopped parsley

– 3-4 garlic cloves, minced

– 3 tablespoons fresh shredded or grated ginger

– 2 tablespoons olive oil

– 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

– 1/4 – 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper

– 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric

– Salt and pepper

Set a large sauce pot over medium heat. Add the olive oil, chopped onions, celery, ginger, and garlic. Saute for 5-6 minutes to soften. Then add the chicken breasts, broth, carrots, apple cider vinegar, crushed red pepper, turmeric and 1 teaspoon sea salt.

Bring to a boil, lower the heat, and simmer for 20+ minutes, until the chicken breasts are cooked through. Then remove the chicken with tongs and set them on a cutting board to cool.

Add the broccoli, peas, and parsley to the pot. Continue to simmer to soften the broccoli. Meanwhile, shred the chicken breasts with two forks, and stir it back into the soup. Once the broccoli is tender, taste, then salt and pepper as needed. Serve warm.

Hello, my dear Readers,

Baths are the best thing ever if you could not figure it out by now, you can check my last post, and see some reasons why you should take a bath.

Since I am so into baths I want to share with you guys a couple of bath essentials to have the best bath ever. I believe bathing is one of the greatest pleasures of all time, and here are some tips to help you improve your bath time:

1. Soaking Salts: because why not? Soaking salts will help you to enjoy the best of your bath time. There are so many different on the market, for detox, calming, even muscle relaxer. Find the one that fits your needs and you are ready.

2. Candles: in your bath, you may just want to relax, so why don’t use some scented candles to help you? Even if you want something more sensual or romantic, candles are the incredible allies to help set the perfect mood.

3. Essential Oils: every well-respected recipe for a good bath include “essential oils”, so I am including them on my list here! Since I am a very educated person and cares about the stuff I talk about, I’ve seen that these oils could boost your bath. But some oils like Peppermint, and the spice oils, like Ginger or Black Pepper, are a huge NO for baths, they can be too irritating to the skin.

4. Wine: I don’t even have to talk about this one, it is simply RELAXATION, babe if you want to relax and have a calmer bath, why not drink some wine? It is P-E-R-F-E-C-T-I-O-N.

5. Ginger: it may sound weird, I know! But this is the ingredient that helps you sweat your toxins off! (Click on “ginger” to find out more about how to add ginger to your bath).

6. Milk and Honey: The combination of honey and milk has been used from ancient times to treat skin problems and nourish the skin. When both these skin-benefiting agents are used together, the result is amazing. (Click on the title if you would like to know more).

Bath Time

Hello, my dear Readers,

Let me ask you, is there anything better than a relaxing bath? I think not. So bring your wine and let’s have a talk. I personally LOVE taking detox/relaxing/everything bath. Since baths are sooo good for your mental health and body health, here are 6 reasons to encourage you to take a super amazing bath tonight or tomorrow night.

1. your skin will thank you for it: taking a bath in warm (not hot as hell) water helps the opening of pores and the cleanse of your skin, cleaning you inside and out. A really intelligent girl (aka Lauren Elizabeth) told that if you have took lots of toxins such and grease foods of alcohol, you could take a bath to sweat out all of the toxins, like a sauna.

2. good night’s sleep: specialists have proven that taking a bath before going to sleep could lead to a better night’s rest and could even cure insomnia! How awesome is that!? So be sure to take a bath before your bedtime, so you can have a restful beauty sleep!

3. calm the nervous system: if you went to SoulCycle or the gym and you are so sore you can barely walk, taking a bath may be the solution, because a warm bath can help to calm this ills.

4. it’s romantic: taking a bath is a wonderfully sensual experience, you can have some alone time or with your significant other. Very sexy and it is a change in the routine.

5. have some time alone: time alone is not for sensual purposes only, you could take this time to relax and reflect in solitude. Shut the door and recluse yourself from the outside world and disappear for a moment, without having to worry.

6. it’s cheap: well, bathing is literally free! If you would like to add stuff to your bath to make it more fun, you do not have to spend hundreds of dollars, it can be extremely affordable. A low cost way to bring something very nice to your day.
